Sara Douglass was born in Penola, South Australia and moved to Adelaide when she was seven. She spent her early working life as a nurse before completing three degrees at the University of Adelaide. After receiving a PhD in Early Modern English history, Sara worked as a Senior Lecturer in Medieval History at La Trobe University, Bendigo. She left the University to start her own business in 2000.
Sara’s first novel, BattleAxe, was published in 1995 and she has been writing and publishing ever since. Three of her novels are winners of the Aurealis Award for Best Fantasy.
Sara lives in Hobart, Tasmania.

Last year Book 3 of the Dark Glass trilogy paper back was announced as being published in May this year.
What is the hold up and how much longer must we wait.
This sort of delay makes the reading of trilogies difficult and encourages loss of interest.

Infinity Gate (book 3 of the Dark Glass trilogy) is scheduled for publication in Spring 2011. Unfortunately Amazon often lags behind our schedule updates but hopefully it will reflect the new date soon.

Massive fan of Ms. Douglass’ work. I’ve bought and read all the Axis SunSoar series and enjoyed every single on of them. I’m currently up to Twisted Citadel and I simply can’t put the book down. I’ve been looking at some websites (such Amazon, Borders, etc) to purchase the last installment ‘Infinity Gate’, however all of the books for sale currently have a completely different cover to the rest of my series. I’m really hoping that the last installment will be released with the option of cover designs.
Not sure how to describe the cover designs, however I’m happy to send through a picture of the covers if it helps…
